At its simplest Hyperworld is beautiful plain 3D globe you can spin around and enjoy the beauty of our planet - there is nothing cluttering the view and you can even see into the oceans.

Tap on the globe to see names and outlines of countries or oceans. Tap again to hide the names and outlines. You can have one or many areas selected, or none. It's up to you.

Pinch to zoom in and you can now see regional borders within countries. Now you can also see cities, with the world's capitol cities marked with borders, not simply dots, giving you a better idea of their size and location.

Tap and hold on the names of locations to get access to a world of information.

When holding your iPad vertically you get Wikipedia, Google News, YouTube, Flickr, Lonely Planet, Rough Guide, Twitter and a local Map.

When you hold your iPad horizontally you get access to a graph with the selected country, state or city marked in a ranking from the smallest to the largest, showing a host of useful data, including area, population, GDP, pollution, development and more.

For example, the smallest area country, Vatican City, would have a dot all the way to the left of the graph, and the worlds largest area country, Russia, on the right.

You can tap anywhere on the graph to compare with other countries, states, cities or oceans.
